The role involves modern software engineering practices, with preferred experience in Kotlin or Java, AWS, Spring, microservices, event streaming, data mesh, and financial services.

Leads technical strategy and architecture across DevOps, data infrastructure, and backend platforms. Responsibilities include AWS and multi-cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, CI/CD, Kubernetes, observability, security, incident management, database operations, and scalable Java microservices. The role establishes engineering standards, improves developer productivity through governed AI tools, optimizes reliability and performance, and mentors senior engineers across infrastructure teams.

Leads capital markets strategy and structured finance transactions, including warehouse facilities, whole loan sales, ABS issuances, growth funding, and capital structure optimization. Manages debt investor, rating agency, banking, legal, and advisory relationships; oversees financial modeling, covenant compliance, market analysis, investor reporting, and cross-functional execution. Builds and mentors the capital markets team while supporting Sunbit’s unsecured loan and credit card growth.
