Responsibilities include network maintenance, configuration management, patch and software validation, system upgrades, backups and recovery, capacity planning, inventory tracking, troubleshooting, helpdesk support, documentation, reporting, and compliance with DoD, DISA, USCYBERCOM, and Joint Staff guidance. The administrator also supports configuration and engineering review boards and coordinates network changes with government stakeholders.

Lead design, deployment, configuration, and management of security solutions for Navy/DoD IT environments. Conduct vulnerability analysis, SCAP scans, STIG implementation, risk assessments, accreditation, audits, TEMPEST testing, malware scanning, incident troubleshooting, and provide cybersecurity guidance to IT teams.
