Paid political team internship supporting Democratic candidate and issue advocacy clients. Responsibilities include monitoring news and advertising, researching candidates and opposition, tracking campaign finance, preparing decks and pitches, writing and proofreading persuasive materials, organizing records, analyzing message research, and assisting with video shoots. The role requires strong research, writing, editing, organization, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

Supports multiple public affairs client teams through press clipping, media list creation, policy research, meeting notes, media monitoring, crisis response, and occasional drafting of press releases, social media content, and pitches. The internship offers exposure to communications strategy, public affairs, and media relations while assisting with special projects.

Supports executive communications by researching speeches and op-eds, drafting messaging, creating presentations, analyzing communications strategies and message research, editing materials in AP Style, and preparing clients for interviews and media coaching. The intern manages multiple projects, communicates complex topics clearly, and collaborates with public officials, advocates, philanthropists, and business executives.
