SAG-AFTRA Benefits Overview

Signs producers to SAG-AFTRA collective bargaining agreements, advises producers and members on contract requirements, investigates and resolves compliance claims, supports arbitration, performs payroll audits, and represents SAG-AFTRA at industry events. The role requires contract interpretation, strong communication, mathematical ability, organization, diplomacy, and knowledge of worker rights.

Interprets and enforces SAG-AFTRA entertainment contracts, provides contract guidance to members and producers, files and researches performer claims, coordinates arbitration matters with Legal, audits productions for compliance, communicates claim outcomes, and represents the union at workshops, panels, committees, and industry events.

Provides administrative support to the Executive Director and Entertainment Contracts department, including file management, scheduling, correspondence, reports, meeting coordination, expense reporting, budget tracking, travel arrangements, and confidential communications. Supports contract negotiations, events, workflow management, and executive leadership coordination. Requires strong organization, communication, discretion, multitasking, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work under deadlines and extended hours.
