Supervises daily museum visitor-services desk operations, including staff direction, scheduling, training, performance feedback, visitor assistance, admissions and membership transactions, cash handling, group check-in, supply ordering, and escalation support. Promotes museum programs and memberships while maintaining a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment and coordinating with internal departments and external agencies.

On-call figure models pose nude, costumed, or clothed for RISD art and design classes. They must retain poses, demonstrate gestures and movement, wait patiently for extended periods, follow direction, collaborate respectfully, and support inclusive, creative studio environments. Assignments are scheduled as needed during the Fall 2026 semester through a staffing agency. Successful candidates must provide a resume and photo and pass pre-employment background screening.

Serve as the sole curatorial-track specialist for Asian art: develop and care for the collection; research, catalogue, conserve, and document objects; organize exhibitions, publications, and educational programs; teach and engage faculty, students, and the public; cultivate donors and support fundraising; manage budgets, grants, and project plans; collaborate with museum staff on security, loans, and communications.
