Plaskolite Benefits Overview

Hands-on engineer responsible for troubleshooting quality and process issues on plastic sheet extrusion lines. The role analyzes manufacturing data, investigates quality concerns, supports process optimization and material trials, develops procedures, conducts root cause analysis, and drives scrap reduction and continuous improvement. It is a 12–24 month developmental assignment on second shift with opportunities to advance into process, manufacturing, quality, product development, or plant engineering roles.

Leads extrusion manufacturing operations across multiple shifts and production lines, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, output, and cost goals. Manages supervisors, leads, and technicians; drives Lean and Six Sigma improvements; coordinates with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Scheduling, and Supply Chain; monitors KPIs; oversees resources, equipment uptime, capacity planning, and team development.

Manages assigned customer accounts throughout the order fulfillment process, including order entry, confirmations, shipment tracking, inquiries, issue resolution, quotations, and backlog monitoring. Coordinates with Sales, Production Planning, Distribution, Finance, and other teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. Handles escalated customer issues, supports priority accounts, mentors team members, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
