Paradromics Benefits Overview

Develop software for clinical brain-computer interface applications, including BCI data curation, neural decoding algorithms, simulated and real-data evaluation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, code reviews, and feature development. Collaborate with engineering, neuroscience, machine learning, and quality teams to define requirements and support clinical studies. Regular travel between Austin and Oakland offices is required.

Designs mechanical components, assemblies, tooling, and fixtures for product development, testing, manufacturing, and engineering workflows. Owns projects from concept through SolidWorks modeling, drawings, fabrication, and implementation. Applies GD&T and design-for-manufacturability principles, collaborates with engineers, technicians, machinists, manufacturers, and suppliers, evaluates prototypes, and iterates designs to achieve reliable, manufacturable solutions. The role also supports continuous improvement and development of internal mechanical design capabilities for medical-device hardware.

Owns end-to-end U.S. payroll for a multistate employee population using Rippling. Responsibilities include validating payroll inputs, processing corrections, reconciling payroll and general ledger accounts, managing payroll taxes and year-end reporting, resolving employee inquiries, maintaining audit documentation, supporting compliance reviews, improving controls and processes, and training backup personnel.
