Requires an accredited radiologic technology education, unrestricted New York State licensure, ARRT certification, and strong communication skills. Travel to various OrthoNY locations may be required.

Provides orthopedic patient care under an orthopedic surgeon’s supervision in clinic and operating room settings. Duties include triage, diagnosis, treatment planning, pre-procedure evaluations, diagnostic testing, medication management, injections, aspirations, splinting, postoperative guidance, documentation, and collaboration with clinical staff. The position assists in surgery twice weekly, works in clinics on other days, and requires periodic travel between practice locations.

Provides orthopedic patient care under surgeon supervision in clinic and operating room settings. Responsibilities include examining and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, ordering and reviewing tests, prescribing medications and orthotics, performing injections and aspirations, applying and removing casts or splints, assisting with surgeries, educating patients, and completing medical documentation.

May also perform Medical Assistant duties such as cast, suture, staple, and dressing removal. Requires accredited radiologic technology education, an unrestricted New York radiologic technologist license, and ARRT certification. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule without evenings, weekends, or holidays; new graduates are welcome.
