Ontario Securities Commission Benefits Overview

Provide legal advice and oversight of marketplaces and crypto trading platforms, review applications, develop market and dealer regulation policy, analyze compliance with Ontario securities laws, and manage multiple regulatory projects and stakeholder interactions.

Lead and advance the OSC's enterprise compliance framework, advise senior leadership on ethics and conflicts, oversee employee personal trading program, manage monitoring, attestation and reporting, partner with Risk and Internal Audit, deliver training and briefing materials, and embed compliance practices across the organization.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative economic and market research to support OSC policy and regulatory work. Design studies, collect and analyze data using relational databases and modern data platforms, apply Python/R and ML techniques, and communicate findings via reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
