OLX Benefits Overview

Maintain, design, and improve OLX’s global LAN/WAN infrastructure across 10 countries. Responsibilities include managing firewalls, VPNs, access controls, monitoring network health, troubleshooting complex incidents, enforcing security compliance, documenting systems, supporting change management, and driving automation with scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools. The engineer collaborates across IT, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams, supports junior engineers, and participates in on-call rotations.

Build and maintain scalable backend services for OLX marketplace products using Golang, Kotlin, Java, or PHP. Contribute to complex technical projects, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and help modernize systems toward microservices on AWS. Use AI for implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, performance analysis, and refactoring while validating and owning all production output.

Support and execute category growth for Goods: analyze buyer/seller behavior and market opportunities; contribute to pricing, monetization, go-to-market, promotions, forecasting and performance tracking; coordinate cross-functionally to drive acquisition, retention, supply quality, and revenue across markets.
