Develop scalable microservices, distributed applications, data pipelines, and database solutions for Nordstrom’s product information platform. Responsibilities include designing data architectures, optimizing performance, conducting code reviews, building testing and CI/CD tools, supporting production systems, monitoring alerts and dashboards, reducing costs, and collaborating with business and engineering teams. The role also involves near-real-time Kafka processing and applying AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.

Develop and support scalable Java-based APIs, web applications, microservices, and inventory systems. Responsibilities include design, coding, testing, deployment, production support, troubleshooting, code reviews, CI/CD, cloud migration, monitoring, and collaboration with business, infrastructure, security, and technology teams. The role requires participation in agile development and rotating 24x7 support while working with AWS, Oracle, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
