Mission Control Benefits Overview

Own financial control and reporting for commercial, government, and research projects. Responsibilities include project setup, budgeting, cost tracking, WIP and accrual reconciliation, forecasting, ETC/EAC analysis, revenue recognition, profitability reporting, variance analysis, subcontractor and procurement commitment tracking, and AI-assisted business intelligence. The role partners with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to improve project controls, automate reporting, and manage financial risks.

Lead and scale a multidisciplinary engineering organization spanning software, systems, aerospace, robotics, GN&C, and operations engineering. Establish technical governance, development processes, design gates, quality standards, and risk mitigation practices. Manage budgets, staffing, resource allocation, infrastructure, and delivery priorities while supporting proposals, customer engagements, and strategic growth. Mentor engineering leaders, foster innovation, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements across complex space missions and products.

Lead complex software and space-technology projects end-to-end: plan, schedule, budget, manage risks and subcontractors, communicate with stakeholders and customers, mentor junior staff, improve PM processes, and ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery.
