MIKID Mentally Ill Kids In Distress Benefits Overview

Provides mentorship and one-on-one support to transitional-age youth ages 13–26, helping them develop independent-living skills, employment readiness, budgeting, housing navigation, and self-advocacy. Conducts assessments, creates transition plans, facilitates workshops, coordinates with schools and community partners, documents services, and monitors program effectiveness. Transports youth and works across community locations, with travel up to 50% of the time.
