The Senior Accountant II supports monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, debt and lease schedules, royalty and commission calculations, audit preparation, financial analysis, and GAAP research. The role maintains accounting records, supports internal controls, resolves discrepancies, prepares compliance schedules, and contributes to finance process improvements while collaborating across departments.

Develops embedded C/C++ firmware and Python test software for laboratory instruments serving biodefense, clinical, and life sciences markets. Responsibilities include sensor, motor, fluidics, temperature, illumination, networking, USB, and peripheral control; barcode scanning; GUI-based testing and alignment; verification, debugging, and failure analysis. The role also supports process improvement, documentation, and regulated product lifecycle activities.
