Maryville College Benefits Overview

Serves as Maryville College’s chief financial officer and strategic advisor to the President and Board. Leads long-range financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, investments, debt, capital strategy, risk management, treasury, compliance, and resource allocation. Oversees the Business Office, bookstore, dining services, and related financial functions while aligning resources with enrollment, fundraising, academic, and institutional priorities. Represents the College to financial institutions, auditors, government agencies, donors, and external partners, and leads teams, organizational change, and long-term financial sustainability.

Provides holistic academic advising and proactive support for first-year undergraduate students. Responsibilities include academic planning, course selection, degree planning, onboarding, outreach to at-risk students, connections to campus resources, advising documentation, FERPA-compliant recordkeeping, early-alert monitoring, Title III data reporting, and collaboration with faculty and campus offices to improve student persistence and success.

Directs the Center for Global Engagement, overseeing international student services, F-1/J-1 compliance, education abroad, global learning, partnerships, budgets, staff, and risk or crisis response. The role develops institutional strategy, manages programs and resources, supports international enrollment and student success, advises campus stakeholders, and ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
