MainStreaming Benefits Overview

Oversee network capacity planning and the configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of routers, switches, firewalls, links, peerings, and BGP routing. Design resilient, highly available network architectures; analyze traffic and resolve performance issues; execute upgrades and expansions; maintain documentation and reports; manage ISP and supplier relationships; and mentor junior engineers. Requires extensive telco network engineering experience, strong routing expertise, scripting skills, and CCNP certification.

Build and optimize scalable batch and real-time data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, backend services, and APIs. Translate data models into efficient implementations, ensure data quality through validation and monitoring, troubleshoot workflows, and contribute to tooling and orchestration decisions. Collaborate with architects, data scientists, analytics, and software teams while maintaining strong testing, documentation, and code-review practices.

Lead provisioning, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of Linux systems across server environments. Manage configuration standards with automation tools, improve observability with monitoring and alerting platforms, perform patching and performance tuning, and oversee storage, networking, capacity planning, and scaling. Mentor junior engineers, document operational processes, and support high availability. The role also involves scripting automation and managing technologies such as Ceph, FRR, Zabbix, and Rudder.
