Mainstream Renewable Power Benefits Overview

Leads corporate sales and business development for renewable energy solutions in South Africa. Negotiates and closes complex Corporate and Generation PPAs with large enterprise clients, manages strategic relationships and sales pipelines in Salesforce, develops proposals, supports RFPs, monitors market trends, and represents the company at industry events. The role requires regular client travel, senior stakeholder engagement, commercial negotiation expertise, and collaboration across technical, financial, and commercial teams.

Manages construction project finance from financial close through commercial operation. Responsibilities include monthly management reporting, reconciliations, project funding and loan facilities, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, audits, annual financial statements, internal controls, statutory compliance, and lender and stakeholder reporting. Partners with contracts and program management teams to maintain accurate financial data and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Supports project finance and M&A activities for renewable energy projects by building and auditing complex financial models, analyzing cash flows, assessing bids and investments, benchmarking assumptions, supporting valuations, and managing financial-close workstreams. The role collaborates with commercial, energy marketing, project management, policy, and market intelligence teams to identify risks, efficiencies, and financing requirements.
