Hoosier Energy Benefits Overview

Produces and validates monthly member billings, applies tariffs and contracts, collects and analyzes metering data, and maintains billing databases and software systems. Provides technical support, troubleshooting, training, and advisory services to members and staff. Supports system upgrades, data quality control, billing processes, and backup capabilities while coordinating with operational technicians and billing personnel.

Manages industrial and large commercial recruitment, site development, and industry retention programs. Partners with member electric cooperatives, businesses, government officials, developers, brokers, railroads, and utilities to promote sites, negotiate proposals, support infrastructure and financing, and improve community marketability. Conducts feasibility research, coordinates marketing materials, provides training and presentations, and supports economic development and electric system marketing initiatives.

Entry-level hybrid role supporting accounting and finance functions: general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, month/year-end close, financial reporting and analysis, cash management, compliance filings, tariff/billing analysis, and records management. Training and mentorship provided.
