Partner with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Creative to create a consistent provider experience.

Own Headway’s enterprise payer product strategy, partnering with strategic payer accounts, Payer BD, Data, and Engineering. Translate commercial needs into reusable product capabilities, establish a repeatable enterprise product framework, and support procurement, legal, and multi-stakeholder buying processes. The role requires balancing enterprise rigor with startup speed while building the function from scratch.

Drive high-volume outbound outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings with care management leaders at health systems. Responsibilities include prospect qualification, contact-list development, CRM activity documentation, clean handoffs to the business development team, and collaboration on messaging and outreach strategy. The role also contributes insights on personas, objections, and conversion performance to improve the team's sales playbook.

Owns Headway’s patient safety triage operations, including SOPs, quality assurance, escalation workflows, clinical product launch readiness, safety reporting, dashboards, vendor management, and incident response. The role coordinates clinical, product, and engineering teams, drives quality improvement initiatives, and builds scalable systems and reporting for clinical leadership and the Board.

Own third-party and vendor contracting, AI-assisted contract review, escalated disputes and regulatory inquiries, corporate insurance administration, and other corporate risk matters. Own Headway’s cloud platform and infrastructure engineering strategy. Lead deployment isolation, container orchestration, AWS networking and compute, autoscaling, capacity planning, Terraform self-service infrastructure, cloud cost attribution, and Python runtime performance. Build reliable paved-road tooling that enables engineering teams to deploy safely and independently while improving scalability, observability, and operational resilience.

Leads HR Business Partners and advises senior business executives on people strategy, organizational design, performance management, talent planning, leadership development, and employee experience. Leads and coaches a team of 6–7 recruiters supporting Provider Sales and Care Partnerships. Own the roadmap for Headway’s go-to-market systems, automating provider acquisition and consolidating fragmented sales and marketing tools. Partner with sales, marketing, and engineering to improve growth efficiency through AI, automation, revenue feeds, audiences, attribution, data enrichment, and campaign management. Unite cross-functional teams around a shared vision, identify process bottlenecks, and determine when automation, staffing, or incentive changes are needed.

Provide high-level executive support to the Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Own complex calendars, meeting preparation, travel, communications, follow-through, and executive operating systems. Coordinate R&D leadership activities, offsites, events, and team logistics while anticipating needs, exercising independent judgment, managing stakeholders, and ensuring commitments are completed.

Review therapists’ clinical documentation and decision-making for safety, evidence-based care, and quality standards. Conduct chart audits, calibration exercises, and inter-rater reliability reviews. Own complex, senior-level design and creative recruiting searches from role scoping through close. Advise executive stakeholders on hiring strategy, leveling, talent standards, market dynamics, and structured processes. Build targeted pipelines, use funnel data to guide decisions, assess senior design talent, improve candidate experience, and provide market intelligence on compensation, talent pools, and organizational design.

Own complex, senior-level product recruiting searches across Product Management, Product Design, and Product Analytics/Research. Partner with executive product and design leaders on hiring strategy, role definition, talent calibration, sourcing, market intelligence, funnel analytics, structured evaluation, and candidate experience. Advise stakeholders through ambiguous searches, build senior talent pipelines, and improve hiring quality, consistency, and inclusivity across the organization.

Owns end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payments, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close. Supports audits, maintains audit-ready documentation, strengthens internal controls, and partners with Accounting and FP&A on accruals, cash forecasting, and vendor issues. The role also drives AP automation, standardizes procedures, optimizes NetSuite and Ramp workflows, and may mentor or manage additional resources as the function grows.

Lead Headway’s Talent Intelligence and Early Careers Recruiting function. Build teams, campus recruiting strategy, talent mapping, sourcing infrastructure, internship programs, market intelligence, reporting, and long-term candidate pipelines. Partner with recruiting, HR, and business leaders to plan hiring capacity, improve sourcing, manage university relationships, deliver internships and events, and own defined hiring outcomes across technical and business functions.

Build and mature Headway’s infrastructure security program across AWS and application platforms. Partner with Product and Infrastructure teams on secure system design, security reviews, platform guardrails, vulnerability remediation, and continuous infrastructure improvement. Support incident response and security operations while advancing AI-native cloud security practices. The role requires strong technical depth, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to establish secure-by-default engineering practices in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
