Verify patient insurance benefits, obtain authorizations and referrals, coordinate with outpatient clinics and payers, manage work queues, create new patient accounts, handle referral-related calls, and support departmental projects to ensure timely access to care.

Provide front-office support and patient coordination in an outpatient orthopedic clinic: schedule appointments, verify insurance, maintain electronic records, welcome patients, assist physical therapists with patient flow and supervised therapeutic exercises, and support daily clinic operations.

Lead and manage the Payment Posting team to ensure accurate posting of insurance and patient payments, cash reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies. Develop automation and optimize ERA/EFT/lockbox workflows, monitor KPIs, establish policies and controls, collaborate with Billing/AR/Finance/IT, support system implementations, and train and develop staff while ensuring HIPAA and payer compliance.
