Build modular learning architecture, taxonomies, enablement programs, and workflow-integrated learning solutions. Partner with HR, technology teams, and executives to validate capability needs, prioritize investments, define AI-native skills, and establish scalable content governance. Use data tracking, rapid prototyping, generative AI, and A/B testing to optimize learning experiences and support organizational development.

Build and own backend services and APIs supporting money movement, payments, settlements, reconciliation, payroll integrations, retirement workflows, and financial compliance. Ship reliable production code, debug incidents, improve observability and operational tooling, and collaborate with product, compliance, operations, and engineering teams. Mentor engineers and ensure systems handling customer funds are correct, scalable, and well tested.

Own segmentation, book-of-business design, quota setting, and headcount capacity planning across multiple sales motions. Build defensible quantitative models, maintain account assignment and routing logic, manage quota administration, and partner with GTM leaders, Finance, Sales Compensation, and Operations. The role requires recurring planning processes, scenario modeling, clear documentation, and confident communication of methodology, tradeoffs, and risks.

Develop and scale compensation programs, policies, and workflows. Lead merit, equity, benchmarking, and compensation cycles; conduct market and pay equity analyses; build dashboards and automation; ensure regulatory compliance; craft competitive offers; and advise HR, Finance, Legal, recruiters, and executives on compensation strategy and decisions.

Supports compensation programs and cycles, including merit, promotions, equity refreshes, benchmarking, offer modeling, audits, reporting, and compliance. Partners with HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to maintain accurate compensation data across Workday and Pave. Uses spreadsheets, AI tools, and automation to improve recurring analysis and workflows while handling confidential information and answering compensation questions.

Own and develop Gusto’s PeopleOS internal HR platform, integrations, and AI-powered tooling. Build full-stack software, REST API integrations, MCP servers, and Claude-based workflows across Workday, Greenhouse, Slack, Google Workspace, and other systems. Partner with People Operations stakeholders on design, implementation, testing, documentation, releases, troubleshooting, and user feedback. Handle sensitive HR data while delivering reliable employee-facing tools.

Owns Gusto’s money transmission and related state financial services licensing portfolio, including NMLS filings, renewals, amendments, reports, surety bonds, examinations, regulatory correspondence, and license conditions. Coordinates with Legal, Finance, Treasury, Product, and Operations; monitors regulatory changes; maintains filing evidence and deadlines; and uses AI-enabled workflows with human review to improve scalability and examination readiness.

Leads Gusto’s Escalation Services team for high-visibility benefits and access-to-care cases while redesigning intake, triage, routing, root-cause analysis, reporting, and automation. The role manages specialists, handles executive escalations, establishes operational KPIs, partners cross-functionally on systemic fixes, and develops an AI-enabled escalation roadmap to improve resolution speed, service quality, and scalability.

Owns the roadmap and business outcomes for Gusto Wallet’s consumer banking products. The role delivers spending, saving, credit, and money-management experiences across the customer lifecycle, while coordinating with engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, legal, operations, and external financial vendors. The product manager will use customer research, accounting knowledge, data analysis, AI tools, and KPI measurement to build compliant, reliable fintech products.

Own the development and growth of Gusto’s SMB banking product from pre-beta through scale. Lead workstreams covering onboarding, identity verification, funding, payments, cards, servicing, and platform integration. Drive acquisition, activation, experimentation, account primacy, and deposit growth while coordinating with engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, legal, operations, and external banking vendors. Apply fintech and banking expertise to create compliant, self-serve products tailored to small-business cash flow and spending needs.

Manage Channel Partner and small-business client relationships through high-volume outbound calls and emails. Educate partners on GustoPro, provide advisory sales guidance, support onboarding and account setup, maintain Salesforce records, promote platform features and integrations, and help partners achieve successful business outcomes. The role is approximately 75% sales activities and 25% implementation and customer support.

Manage customer offboarding for 401(k) plan terminations and provider transfers through phone and email. Coordinate complex workflows across Operations, Compliance, Finance, Product, and Engineering; investigate issues, resolve escalations, manage support queues, and maintain quality and response benchmarks. Identify customer trends, recommend process improvements, handle sensitive conversations empathetically, and use customer service platforms and AI tools to deliver efficient support.

Drive expansion revenue within existing customers through high‑velocity outbound and inbound outreach. Make ~60 dials daily, hold consultative calls to uncover upsell/cross-sell opportunities, update Salesforce, hit monthly ARR quota, and use AI-powered workflows to optimize selling and feedback to product teams.

Support B2B customers through Gusto 401(k) onboarding by guiding plan setup, explaining platform features and retirement concepts, monitoring progress, and following up proactively. The coordinator provides phone and email support, identifies compliance or setup issues, collaborates with sales and internal teams, manages multiple customer platforms, and shares feedback to improve onboarding processes and products.

Leads enterprise-wide People Operations process transformation, HRIS Operations, and People Services. Develops strategies, redesigns employee lifecycle workflows, drives automation and AI-enabled improvements, establishes governance and metrics, improves HR service delivery, and manages cross-functional teams. Partners with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and business leaders to deliver scalable, compliant, data-driven operational improvements.

Own end-to-end delivery of greenfield, full-stack product areas for Gusto Solo. Design scalable architectures and data models, build backend APIs and frontend experiences, use AI tools and develop AI-native features including MCP tools, and collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and GTM. Help shape product direction, engineering practices, and technical foundations in a high-autonomy environment.

Design, build, test, and scale Gusto’s invoicing and billing platform, including subscriptions, orders, invoice generation, payments, reporting, and accounting integrations. Lead architecture, performance, reliability, and large-scale refactoring for high-throughput distributed systems. Mentor engineers, collaborate across product and business teams, support new billing models, and use AI tools to accelerate development and testing.

Architect and build native iOS and Android financial products using SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, and GraphQL. Lead mobile architecture, infrastructure, testing, release pipelines, and multi-quarter initiatives while applying AI workflows. Collaborate cross-functionally in a regulated banking environment, resolve ambiguous technical problems, maintain performance and security, and mentor engineers across both platforms.
