East Side House Settlement Benefits Overview

Provides case management for individuals and families in a housing retention and stabilization program. Conducts assessments, develops service plans, coordinates referrals to benefits and community resources, supports participant self-advocacy and independence, documents services, and collaborates with social workers, providers, and community partners. The role also involves participant engagement, case conferences, supervision, data reporting, and compliance with confidentiality and program requirements.

Supervises social workers, lead social workers, and case managers across residential sites. Provides practice guidance, coaching, case consultation, crisis escalation, quality assurance, documentation oversight, and staff development. Monitors caseloads, resident acuity, service utilization, and program performance while strengthening referral pathways and community partnerships. Supports consistent, trauma-informed, person-centered services, housing stability, compliance, and continuous improvement, with limited direct intervention for exceptionally complex cases.

The Assistant Director supports an elementary youth program by coordinating curriculum and daily activities, supervising educators, maintaining safe and clean learning spaces, communicating with families and school partners, managing schedules and supplies, maintaining compliance records, and supporting staff recruitment, training, evaluation, meetings, and special events.
