East Oakland Community Project Benefits Overview

Leads the organization's human resources and administrative operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, compliance, investigations, payroll coordination, and personnel records. Advises leadership on employment matters, develops policies, supports workforce planning, and manages office purchasing, insurance, security, records, and operational improvements. Supervises volunteers and promotes an efficient, compliant, inclusive workplace.

Leads EOCP’s day-to-day operations, programs, capacity building, finances, human resources, fundraising, planning, evaluation, community partnerships, and board support. Oversees the senior management team and serves as the organization’s primary internal decision-maker and external representative. The role develops organizational strategies, monitors financial performance, strengthens services for people experiencing homelessness, and builds relationships with funders, government agencies, businesses, donors, and community partners.
