County of Kaua'i Benefits Overview

Collects, compiles, and analyzes socio-economic and land-use data for county planning. Prepares maps, charts, reports and draft findings; participates in surveys on infrastructure, housing, transportation, and utilities; assists with feasibility, budgeting, and other planning-related analyses and tasks as assigned.

Entry-level planning trainee assisting with land use data collection, document review, basic statistical tabulation, and support for short- and long-range planning analyses under direct supervision.

Designs, develops, tests, and documents IT systems and procedures; analyzes user needs; recommends process changes; develops system design specifications; evaluates hardware/software and network components; trains users; may supervise IT staff and implements project plans for integrated systems.
