Contact Energy Benefits Overview

Provides independent operational assurance and oversight across Contact Energy’s generation assets. Establishes operational authority frameworks, standards, governance, safety rules, isolation practices, and work control systems. Advises executives, board committees, regulators, and operational teams on safety, risk, capability, plant operations, and operational performance. The role requires senior leadership experience in safety-critical industries such as power generation, oil and gas, refining, chemical processing, or mining.

Supports and improves infrastructure across Linux and Windows servers, VMware, Ansible automation, hardware lifecycle activities, and networking. The role collaborates with cloud and infrastructure specialists and business technology teams, contributes to enterprise infrastructure platforms, resolves practical technical issues, and may participate in an on-call roster. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, ownership, and collaborative problem-solving are essential.
