Responsibilities include endpoint management, software deployment, patching, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, monitoring, backup and recovery, Active Directory support, VMware administration, and PowerShell automation. The role coordinates with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams, supports federal security requirements, troubleshoots enterprise systems, and improves operational efficiency through standardized processes and automation.

Leads enterprise network engineering for WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, wireless, firewall, cloud connectivity, and monitoring environments. Designs and troubleshoots routing, circuits, VPNs, and network infrastructure; coordinates providers, vendors, DISA, and government stakeholders; supports outages, site surveys, migrations, secure configurations, DISA STIGs, documentation, and modernization. Mentors network personnel and provides technical leadership for USMEPCOM infrastructure.

Supports Air Force cyber mission assurance and tactical command-and-control operations. Coordinates network operations, outage resolution, engineering support, requests for support, cyber priorities, vulnerability reporting, and mission status briefings. Performs network issue triage, threat and vulnerability identification using ARAD and Tanium, CTO review, and liaison duties with military, civilian, contractor, and engineering partners. Requires rotating 24/7 shift support.
