Installs, configures, tests, monitors, and services network equipment supporting Department of Defense networks. Coordinates customer requirements, service orders, circuit activations, vendor activities, testing, reporting, and change management. Analyzes network and database information, implements device configurations, monitors traffic impacts, troubleshoots technical issues, and works with customers, architects, vendors, project managers, and DISA stakeholders to deliver network services.

Administer Windows and hybrid cloud directory services, including Active Directory, domain controllers, accounts, permissions, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, server deployment, VMware environments, patching, DISA STIG compliance, and PowerShell automation. Troubleshoot replication and domain-trust issues, manage core services, respond to Remedy tickets, and maintain server security posture. The role requires an active Secret clearance, Security+ or equivalent IAT II certification, and Microsoft AZ-900 certification.

Supports the Air Force Cyber Assessment Team by conducting Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments at Air Force locations worldwide. Evaluates endpoint security, network vulnerabilities, insider threat, physical and information security controls, and compliance with STIGs, RMF, NISPOM, and related regulations. The role coordinates with commanders, system owners, security managers, and communications leadership; validates assessment artifacts; reports risks; supports remediation recommendations; and maintains required certifications and assessment activity.
