Columbia College Benefits Overview

Manages accessibility services for college students with disabilities, including accommodation eligibility, documentation, testing, housing, assistive technology, and faculty consultations. Ensures compliance with ADA and Section 504, conducts needs assessments, maintains records and reporting systems, supports accreditation, trains campus stakeholders, supervises assigned staff, manages budgets, and advocates for equal access, retention, and student success.

Provide leadership and delivery of information literacy and research instruction for undergraduate programs, develop and assess learning outcomes, create workshops and LibGuides, support in-person and online students, supervise student assistants, participate in reference and evening desk coverage, and collaborate with campus partners to integrate library services and assessment.

The Online Academic Advisor provides academic advising and support for online students, helping with course selection, registration, and student success services, while ensuring compliance with college policies.
