Provides administrative and program coordination support to the Vancouver Police Department Chief’s Office. Responsibilities include managing employee leave and separation workflows, coordinating personnel processes, organizing meetings and ceremonies, managing executive calendars and travel, reconciling purchasing-card expenses, maintaining records, coordinating facilities issues, and supporting executive projects. The role requires accurate handling of confidential personnel information, cross-department communication, and occasional event support outside standard hours.

Supports the launch of Inspire Vancouver’s community measurement practice by designing culturally responsive surveys, engaging diverse communities, collecting and analyzing data, and creating accessible reports and visual summaries. The intern will help communicate program impact to community members, grantees, city staff, the Culture, Arts, and Heritage Commission, and Vancouver City Council while gaining experience in ethical community-based research and public-sector data communication.

Conduct digital forensic investigations involving the seizure, preservation, extraction, analysis, and presentation of electronic evidence. Support criminal investigations, search warrants, internet crimes operations, prosecutors, defense interviews, and courtroom testimony. Prepare forensic reports, provide expert guidance and training, maintain evidentiary records, conduct field examinations, and use specialized forensic platforms across computer and mobile operating systems.
