Captive Resources Benefits Overview

Develops and executes commercial insurance business development strategies, grows captive memberships and premiums, identifies customer needs, manages broker and client relationships, and oversees renewals and new business. Responsibilities include proposal development, pricing and budgeting, presentations, contract negotiations, board meetings, workshops, and tracking proposal outcomes. Requires extensive travel and five to seven years of commercial insurance business development and underwriting experience.

Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned insurance captives, including renewal and new-business documentation, underwriting materials, board presentations, premium reconciliation, and member or broker communications. Ensure captive program records align with board directives, address outstanding premiums and reconciliation issues, supervise Associate PM work, support team development, and present technical captive details to individuals and groups. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Leads strategic initiatives and complex analyses focused on revenue growth, operational efficiency, investments, and enterprise priorities. Develops financial models, market assessments, operational diagnostics, and executive presentations for senior leadership and private equity stakeholders. Partners with cross-functional leaders, manages workstreams, tracks strategic KPIs, facilitates alignment, and supports implementation of organizational priorities.
