Build and run the compliance framework for a new Type I Financial Instruments Business in Japan. Draft policies, manage regulator and SRO filings and inspections, run AML/CFT operations, transaction monitoring and trade surveillance, review marketing and account-opening procedures, operate compliance committees, and align domestic policies with the global compliance team.

The COO (Senior Official II) is accountable for daily banking operations across payments, client accounts, correspondent banking, and card programmes, ensuring regulatory compliance (BTCRA/CBOB, AML/CFT), managing third-party relationships, improving operational controls and reporting, and deputising for the CEO with regulatory authorities.

The Financial Market Analyst will lead market analysis, produce market commentary, engage with media, and collaborate with marketing and business teams.
