Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union Benefits Overview

Processes member deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, wires, and other financial transactions. Opens and closes memberships and accounts, balances cash drawers, resolves discrepancies, and supports branch operations. Interviews members to identify suitable loan products, prepares and verifies loan documentation, coordinates closings and funding, and ensures compliance with lending policies and applicable laws. Recommends credit union products while providing courteous member service.

Performs daily accounting tasks including posting journal entries, reconciling ledgers and bank transactions, processing ACH/wires/cards, handling AR/AP, preparing reports, maintaining files, supporting regulatory compliance (BSA/OFAC/etc.), and assisting department administrative duties.

Lead the credit union's compliance, risk management, BSA/AML, and vendor management programs. Oversee compliance reviews, monitoring, reporting, staff development, and coordination with Audit to ensure regulatory adherence and risk controls.
