Designs and analyzes transportation infrastructure, including intersections, traffic signals, roadway capacity, safety improvements, signage, pavement markings, and pedestrian facilities. Prepares construction plans, specifications, technical reports, permits, calculations, and quantity takeoffs using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, and VISSIM. Conducts field investigations and data collection, supports ADA compliance and quality control, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams while following AASHTO, MUTCD, and DOT standards.

Supports municipal transportation and infrastructure projects through GIS data collection, spatial analysis, geoprocessing, database and web map maintenance, field inspections, and map production. Collaborates with engineers, planners, and scientists while developing practical GIS and asset management skills. Fieldwork may involve collecting roadway, sidewalk, and utility data in varying weather conditions, lifting up to 40 pounds, and traveling between office locations.

Leads GIS projects from kickoff through delivery, managing scope, budgets, schedules, resources, fieldwork, quality control, and client relationships. Directs teams implementing Esri-based solutions, geospatial databases, applications, integrations, mapping products, and automated workflows. Provides technical leadership in Python, Arcade, JavaScript, SQL, spatial analysis, and data management. Mentors GIS staff, supports business development, visits client sites, and helps advance the organization’s geospatial strategy.
