Provides hands-on mental health support in community and office settings. Supervise and mentor peer support staff using recovery-oriented, reflective, and strength-based practices. Requires local travel and collaboration with DSS and community service providers.

Unpaid internship supporting families through home visits, outreach, resource coordination, documentation, data entry, family events, team meetings, and training. The intern gains experience in public health, child development, evidence-based home visiting, and family support practices under weekly supervision. The role requires at least 32 hours weekly in Plattsburgh, with travel to community locations and occasional evening or weekend flexibility.
