Supports environmental, health, and safety programs through hazard assessments, industrial hygiene sampling, OSHA compliance research, employee safety training, LOTO and forklift safety reviews, environmental compliance initiatives, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement. Works with employees, supervisors, and Safety Committee members to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.

Supports parcel, LTL, and truckload shipping operations, including shipment processing, tracking, order verification, freight documentation, and recordkeeping. Uses logistics systems and data analysis to support reporting and continuous improvement projects focused on transportation efficiency, cost reduction, and shipment accuracy. Collaborates with Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Distribution Center teams.

Supports HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, HRIS data entry, reporting, employee file management, career fair coordination, HR program documentation, and responding to employee questions. The intern will assist with benefits and HRIS support while maintaining confidential information and contributing to a collaborative workplace culture.
