Lead the transformation of ARQ’s global controllership function by building scalable, audit-ready accounting infrastructure across Latin America and the United States. Responsibilities include directing multi-currency close and consolidation, implementing ERP and chart-of-accounts architecture, overseeing regulatory reporting, managing audits and compliance, ensuring US GAAP and IFRS adherence, automating accounting workflows, and partnering with Tax, FP&A, Treasury, and Engineering.

Leads ARQ’s global tax strategy, governance, compliance, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, financial reporting, and fintech-specific tax obligations across the US and Latin America. Oversees tax filings, provisions, audits, withholding, transaction taxes, and cross-border structures while partnering with Product and Engineering to automate tax logic. Builds the tax team, manages external advisors, advises executives and the Board, and supports international expansion and regulatory licensing.

Own ARQ’s investment advisory function in Brazil, including investor profiling, risk assessment, suitability, portfolio construction, investment recommendations, advisory content, and regulatory processes. Serve as the responsible point of contact with the BCB and support the Wealth roadmap. The role requires investment advisory or wealth management experience, broad product knowledge, strong judgment, and Portuguese and English fluency.
