Provides safety leadership across utility operations through field observations, regulatory compliance guidance, coaching, incident investigations, root cause analysis, safety program development, and trend analysis. The senior level leads complex investigations, cross-functional initiatives, regulatory interpretation, mentoring, and presentations to senior leadership. The role is field-based, requires territory travel, and supports storm restoration and emergency response activities.

Plans electric subtransmission system development, including load and DER forecasting, power flow and reliability studies, facility conceptual design, hosting-capacity analysis, and renewable interconnection evaluation. Develops engineering reports, planning criteria, operating information, and project recommendations; supports contingency response, economic analysis, regulatory data requests, cross-functional studies, and storm restoration activities.

Build and maintain relationships with legislators, utilities, lobbyists, and stakeholder organizations. Develop coalitions, monitor legislation and hearings, determine and communicate company policy positions, present strategies to senior leadership, and represent Ameren Missouri at community and stakeholder events. The role advocates for legislative priorities and coordinates internal and external engagement around utility policy issues.
