Build and lead Aether’s quality control system for commercial polymeric manufacturing. Responsibilities include establishing document control, supplier qualification, traceability, inspection and sampling plans, nonconformance and corrective-action processes, lot release, and electronic QMS capabilities. The role provides hands-on oversight at contract manufacturers, investigates failures, qualifies suppliers and manufacturing partners, defines critical-to-quality attributes, trains stakeholders, and supports scalable production quality systems.

Owns Aether Bio’s DoD account growth and federal funding pipeline. Responsibilities include government sales, opportunity tracking, SBIR/STTR management, grant and contract capture, proposal development, teaming strategy, consortium management, external representation, and post-award compliance coordination. The role requires strong DoD or DoE relationships, federal contracting knowledge, proposal writing expertise, and willingness to travel 30–40%.

Serve as the first dedicated IT hire for a 40-person biotech team across two Bay Area sites. Provide hands-on help desk support, manage networks and lab instrument connectivity, oversee onboarding, offboarding, assets, backups, endpoint management, identity systems, security tools, and employee training. Lead IT vendor coordination, budgeting, systems selection, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure projects. Evaluate MDM, SSO, directory consolidation, scripted provisioning, instrument data traceability, and backup reliability.
