Acadian Asset Management Benefits Overview

Participate in a 10-week quantitative investment internship in Boston, owning a substantial project from framing through delivery. Projects may involve developing investment signals, analyzing risk models, portfolio construction, trading costs, investment tools, data pipelines, or modernizing production systems. Interns use Python and real data to conduct empirical or computational research, collaborate with investment teams, and present findings. The program is intended for Master's and PhD candidates in quantitative disciplines, with potential full-time opportunities for strong performers.

Provides administrative and scheduling support to the CTO and IT leadership team. Coordinates meetings, events, onboarding and offboarding, travel, calendars, invoices, purchase orders, vendor documentation, presentations, and departmental communications. Collaborates with HR, Finance, Procurement, Facilities, and other internal teams while maintaining records and supporting IT department projects. Uses technology and AI-enabled tools to improve administrative efficiency.

Build and operate cloud platform services supporting investment applications, AI workloads, and quantitative research. Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code components, Kubernetes GitOps workflows, CI/CD automation, observability, security controls, and cost optimization. Partner with development teams, troubleshoot operational issues, modernize the technology stack, document systems, review code, and participate in an on-call rotation. The role requires AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, infrastructure-as-code, software development, cloud security, networking, and observability experience.
