Leads the strategy and execution of external game development partnerships across a AAA project slate. Owns vendor sourcing, RFPs, commercial negotiations, budgets, forecasts, production schedules, workflows, quality reviews, reporting, risk mitigation, onboarding, and offboarding. Partners with production, art, discipline leads, legal, procurement, IT, and security to ensure external work is efficiently planned, delivered, and aligned with internal milestones. Builds the external development function, processes, team structure, and career paths from the ground up.

Design and lead complex systems and gameplay features for online multiplayer games, focusing on economies, reward loops, progression, and player-driven choices. Collaborate cross-functionally to define, document, implement, balance, and iterate features in-engine. Provide design leadership, mentor peers, analyze feedback, validate decisions through economy models and simulations, and align feature execution with broader game goals.

Create, optimize, and maintain high-quality shaders and material systems in Unreal Engine using node-based graphs and HLSL/GLSL/CG. Establish shader standards, build shading tools and validation, profile performance, and collaborate with teams to meet visual and performance targets across platforms.
