Mike Miller is a director of AI product management at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He advises on key generative AI initiatives at AWS, including automated reasoning capabilities to prevent hallucinations including with Kiro and Amazon Bedrock capabilities. He brought PartyRock, a no-code playground to build generative AI apps, to the public after seeing an internal version of it go viral amongst Amazon employees. Prior to this, he led the AWS Machine Learning Thought Leadership team, bringing AWS DeepLens, AWS DeepRacer and AWS DeepComposer to developers to help them gain hands-on machine learning experience. Mike has been with Amazon for more than 12 years, previously leading product management for Fire TV at Lab126 before joining AWS. He earned his master’s in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT. Outside the office, Mike is a private pilot and loves the combination of freedom of flight with the rigor of procedures for flying safely.
