Maria Katris is the co-founder and CEO of Built In.
Katris earned her BS from Miami University and MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Crain’s named her on its “40 Under 40” list, and she sits on the advisory board of Miami University’s Altman School of Entrepreneurship.
Built In has been recognized in the Inc. 5000 and the Deloitte Fast 500. The company’s 2019 $22 million series C funding round led by Updata partners, with participation from MATH Venture Partners, was the largest funding round closed by a woman-led company in Chicago history at the time.
