Chistine “Chris” King is the world’s first woman chief executive officer of a semiconductor company, AMI Semiconductor. She spent 25+ years at IBM, eventually becoming the vice president of semiconductor solutions. Her other roles include president and CEO of Standard Microsystems, executive chairman of QLogic Corporation and she’s currently co-chairman of Henry Schein One board of directors and board of directors member of Skyworks. Outside of the world of technology, King has tackled the worlds of dairy farming and the equestrian sport of cow cutting with equal vigor. Never one to go into something half-heartedly, King has achieved championship status in both dairy cow showmanship and cow cutting competitions.
