Alex Dang, co-author of The Venture Mindset, is a senior technology executive and an advisor on technology and innovation with two decades of professional experience. Alex experienced the venture mindset firsthand at Amazon and AWS, where as a product leader he designed and launched new businesses and solutions for millions of customers across e-commerce, supply chain and AI. More recently, Alex brought this perspective to global executives as a partner at McKinsey and Company in its Silicon Valley office. He is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Ilya Strebulaev, co-author of The Venture Mindset, is an academic expert on venture capital. He is the founder of the Venture Capital Initiative and David S. Lobel professor of private equity and professor of finance at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where he teaches a class on venture capital.
