WorkWhile, a company helping businesses source, manage and optimize hourly workforces, announced its acquisition of assets from Mindy, a company that developed an autonomous digital agent that serves as a chief of staff. Incorporating Mindy’s solution enables WorkWhile to scale its agentic capabilities, furthering its strategy of increasing AI adoption in enterprise workforces.
Founded by Yu Pan and Benoit Berthoux, Mindy designed its technology to simplify executive administration, enterprise context synchronization and complex document intelligence at scale. This asset acquisition allows WorkWhile to build operational AI agents that act as autonomous managers across HR, compliance, logistics and middle-management functions.
“Mindy was one of the first companies to build a digital twin for office workers. We are thrilled to have them join us to extend agents to all frontline workers and give them financial stability in the modern labor economy,” Simon Khalaf, WorkWhile’s CEO, said in a statement. “Mindy’s team has built generational products like PayPal and YouTube, and I can’t wait to work with Yu Pan, Benoit, and the Mindy team and bring dignity and delight to all our workers.”
