VAST Data has achieved a $30 billion valuation following a $1 billion Series F funding round led by Drive Capital. The company provides data infrastructure for developing and deploying AI systems.

VAST’s AI Operating System product is a data and computing platform that helps organizations build, train and run AI models and simultaneously power the apps and agents that depend on them at scale. The company plans to invest its latest tranche of funding in strategic transactions as well as expanding its tech footprint and partnerships.

“We are already supporting AI environments spanning millions of GPUs globally, operating across every layer of the AI stack,” Renen Hallak, VAST’s CEO and founder, said in a statement. “What is becoming clear is that these layers are no longer independent. Applications, models and infrastructure now operate as a single system through data. VAST sits at the center of how that system works, which is why we are seeing this level of demand at global scale.”
