Ireland may be known for great literature and idyllic vistas and, but it’s also a central economic hub for businesses both domestic and international. In the 20th century, Irish leaders implemented pro-business policies, including an extremely low corporate tax rate of 12.5 percent. Although both implementations have since been eliminated, it allowed Ireland to grow as a major hub for foreign businesses. From Dublin to Cork and back again, these are some of the top U.S. companies operating in Ireland today.

US Companies in With Offices in Ireland

General Motors is a well-known name in the automotive industry, producing vehicles through the Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC brands. The company is also responsible for brands like OnStar, which enables in-vehicle safety and security, and GM Energy, which offers EV charging solutions. Although headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, GM has Limerick and Dublin office sites that support its global IT operations.

 

Nasuni offers a hybrid cloud solution that provides organizations with secure, scalable data infrastructure that contributes to IT efficiency. In the financial services industry, for example, Nasuni’s technology ensures data continuously syncs so that updated information is accessible to dispersed teams across corporate and branch offices. Nasuni established its Cork Innovation Centre to bolster its engineering operations.

 

Toast offers a point-of-sale platform along with compatible software and hardware tools that are specifically designed to support efficient operations for restaurants and retail businesses. The Boston-headquartered company has an office in Dublin where employees from teams like engineering, marketing and customer success work.

 

CarGurus helps consumers browse for, buy and sell vehicles. CarGuru’s Dublin office is based out of the Charlemont area where its sales team helps U.K. dealers reach more customers. Employees at CarGurus work on-site for at least 40 percent of each month. 

 

Fidelity Investments boasts that it delivers investment services to 23 million people around the world. Its financial services include retirement planning, investment management, portfolio guidance and brokerage services. The company’s Dublin office is located in the Citywest Business Campus near Kingswood Cross. 

 

Pluralsight builds software for certification prep, skills assessments, and analytics labs for businesses, individuals, and organizations in the public sector. It also offers resources like videos, reports, infographics, case studies and tech guides. The company boasts that its Dublin office is located by the water.

 

Founded in 2008, MongoDB is an open-source NoSQL database that allows developers to handle vast amounts of data. The NYC-based company has over a dozen offices around the world. Outside the U.S., the company says it's focusing on hiring team members to join MongoDB out of its international headquarters in Dublin’s Ballsbridge neighborhood. 

 

Remitly is a digital service that helps people send money worldwide to family, friends or others they know personally to cover things like household bills, medical expenses, education costs, special occasions or long-term savings. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, the company has grown to operate more than 10 offices worldwide, including one in Cork.

 

Coinbase is a platform for managing, buying and selling digital currencies. Its product allows users to access their digital assets securely through their mobile devices. Coinbase is a remote-first workplace hiring for compliance and customer experience roles in Ireland.

 

Monte Carlo describes itself as a data reliability company that aids users in making their data accessible and accurate. Its platform automates data observability with solutions to preemptively resolve issues, find anomalies and monitor data pipelines. The company has a remote-first culture and its Dublin employees have access to a co-working space. 

 

VelocityEHS is a cloud-based tech company that specializes in developing software businesses use for environment, health and safety, or EHS, along with environment, social and governance, or ESG. Its Accelerate platform uses tools powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence to help organizations streamline compliance, manage risk and create more sustainable, safer workplaces. The company has an office in the town of Carrigtwohill in County Cork. 

 

Rue Gilt Groupe is an e-commerce portfolio company with three complementary sites, ShopSimon, Gilt and Rue La La. It hosts more than 5,000 luxury and premium brands at prices up to 70 percent off of full-price retail. The company has a Dublin office near Merrion Square Park. 

 

Klaviyo’s AI-powered platform provides brands with data and marketing automation solutions designed to help them better engage consumers across multiple channels. The company is headquartered in Boston, and expanded its footprint with the February 2025 opening of a new Dublin office, which marks Klaviyo’s third international location.

 

CSC delivers consulting services and software tools that support multinational corporations in a variety of areas, ranging from entity formation and management to online brand protection. Its extensive portfolio of capabilities covers 140-plus global jurisdictions, and CSC’s presence in Ireland is based out of Dublin.

 

Mastercard has its Dublin office in the Leopardstown area, at the foot of the Wicklow Mountains. The company offers financial services for individuals, along with organizations of all sizes, including credit unions, independent software vendors and those in the public sector. It delivers its solutions to over 210 countries and territories around the world. 

 

Coupa Software has an office in Dublin where it holds meetings and events. The company’s platform is designed to streamline its clients’ management of direct and indirect spending. It serves client companies of all sizes, from small businesses to enterprise organizations. 

 

Squarespace enables users to design their own websites using its color palettes, website templates and designer fonts. Its AI-powered domain search helps customers check for domain availability. The company’s Dublin office, founded in 2013, is located in Dublin’s city center near St. Stephen’s Green and George’s Street. The 24,589-square-foot office, known as Squarespace House, occupies four flours, with its own dedicated entrance, lobby and rooftop terrace. 

 

Ancestry’s Dublin office is located in the Docklands area. The company provides consumer genomics and family history software. Its DNA network boasts over 23 million people, and over 40 billion records from more than 80 countries.  

 

Sojern, a company founded in 2007 and headquartered in San Francisco, specializes in creating marketing technology for the travel industry. The company assists businesses like hotels, airlines and tourist attractions by providing a platform that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to help them connect with their target audiences. Sojern’s offerings include a smart concierge that uses AI to respond quickly to guest inquiries and a platform to help clients build brand awareness, boost bookings and increase ticket sales. Although its head office is in the United States, Sojern also maintains an office in Dublin.

 

Qualtrics provides experience management software to sectors like government, healthcare, financial services and education. The company’s clients use it to design products, grow their teams and deliver top-notch frontline experiences. It also uses artificial intelligence to analyze its data throughout its solutions.
