HomeAdvisor finalizes merger with Angie’s List, goes public

In May, HomeAdvisor announced plans to merge with Indianapolis-based Angie’s List to create a new public company, Angi Homeservices Inc. On Monday, that merger was finalized, growing HomeAdvisor’s team by about 1,000. The new company will be run from Colorado and current HomeAdvisor CEO Chris Terrill will remain at the helm. Both brands will continue to be available to consumers, but Angie’s List especially will likely see a technology upgrade as HomeAdvisor places greater emphasis on tech development. E-commerce software provider ChannelAdvisor launches Denver office

North Carolina-based e-commerce software company ChannelAdvisor just opened a new office in Denver. The company plans to use the new Denver office to tap into the local tech talent pool and expand its sales team, enabling further growth into western markets and easier access to existing customers and partners. Zayo Group wins multi-million dollar deal with unnamed global company

Communications infrastructure company Zayo Group landed a multi-million dollar deal this week with an unnamed global web-scale company. The joint project aims to support the unnamed partner’s data center growth in the Midwest by providing more than 500 miles of dark fiber along a strategic route. The agreement utilizes Zayo’s in-place network, which was acquired from FiberLink in 2013. [Press release]

 

Secure64 appoints Thad Dupper as new CEO

Greenwood Village-based Secure64, which delivers enterprise-level DNS security solutions, announced this week that industry veteran Thad Dupper would join the team as CEO and become a member of its board of directors.
