
Girls Who Code Summer Program graduates 20 local ladies
The Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program, sponsored by AT&T, will graduate 20 Austin girls. The ceremony will be held at St. Edward's University with special guest Mayor Steve Adler, who will be there to congratulate them. They spent seven weeks building real-world projects connecting code to their passions, meeting female engineers and entrepreneurs in the field, and establishing friendships with a supportive and diverse community of girls. Capital Factory announces invite-only Entrepreneur in Residence program
On Tuesday, Capital Factory shared plans of their Entrepreneur in Residence program (EIR), designed for serial entrepreneurs to get access to higher-level offerings provided by Capital Factory. Legal startup that sweeps records clean relocated to San Antonio
Easy Expunctions, founded in 2015 through Legal Holdings LLC, is relocating its offices from Austin to San Antonio at the suggestion of an Alamo City-based adviser and investor in the company as well as an undisclosed economic incentive. The company offers software services that works to clean and expunge records that cost much less than your typical law office fees, say $500 vs. $1400 for the same expungement. Datical announces year-to-date milestones and recognitions
Austin-based provider of agile database automation solutions, Datical, shared it has seen a 130 percent increase in subscription revenue since January this year and has increased its workforce by more than 50 percent over the same time period, with more hiring planned. T3 and iFly partner to make virtual reality sky diving
Austin's marketing and ad agency T3 is working with iFly, the Austin-based indoor sky diving company now in roughly 20 cities, to bring VR to skydiving. It's currently in testing with no immediate timeline for launch, but Ben Gaddis, CIO at T3, said he expects it in Austin much sooner than later. [512 Tech]
