Sunsave, a clean energy company based in London, has raised £113 million, comprising a £100 million debt facility from Crédit Agricole and £13 million in Series A funding led by Norrsken VC and IPGL, with participation from several returning investors.

In a blog post, Sunsave announced that the funding will support the expansion of its flagship solar subscription program, Sunsave Plus. The company plans to bring affordable rooftop solar to tens of thousands of homes across England and Wales.

Launched in January 2024, Sunsave Plus has helped drive company growth by more than 32 percent, enabling homeowners to avoid high upfront costs by paying a fixed monthly fee over 20 years. According to the company, households using the subscription are saving an average of £685 annually on their energy bills.

“Our customers don’t just want solar for the environmental benefits. Going solar can save you real money and help protect you from volatile energy bills. This funding validates our vision of making clean energy accessible and cheap to every U.K. household,” Chief Operating Officer Ben Graves said in a statement.
