Montreal-based Artifact 5 is an indie game developer known for creating “surreal and emotionally driven” games. Its debut project, Anamorphine, is a first-person exploration game, and the company has since expanded its portfolio to include Lucky Me and other titles currently in development.

 

Adtech platform Goloot helps mobile and web publishers diversify their revenue streams by offering a gamified experience that rewards user engagement with e-commerce offers like discounts and giveaways. Its technology is featured on platforms like ELLE Magazine, Narcity and Hometalk.

 

QuoteMachine’s customer management platform streamlines big-ticket custom sales by providing retailers with digital tools for creating quotes, online order forms and invoices. In recent years, the company has attracted funding from several investors, including Manresa Ventures and Clocktower.

 

Nomic Bio is a bioengineering company and the developer of nELISA, a next-generation ELISA platform designed for large-scale protein measurement. Through this innovation, the company aims to make the human proteome as accessible as the human genome. Founded in Montreal in 2017, Nomic Bio operates with a close-knit startup culture, maintaining a team of fewer than 50 employees.

 

Deep Sky is a carbon removal project developer focused on making Canada the “carbon removal capital of the world” by creating technologies that remove large quantities of carbon from the atmosphere and store it underground. According to the company, it has raised over $130 million in funding, backed by investors like Investissement Québec and Brightspark Ventures.

With over 550 locations worldwide, the company uses automatic fleet orchestration to efficiently manage traffic. It is headquartered in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

 

Stay22 collaborates with leading travel agencies such as Booking.com, Trivago and Expedia to provide tools that help travel content creators monetize their platforms and boost affiliate earnings. The company has secured over $3 million in funding from various investors. Its corporate headquarters is located in Montreal.

 

ChrysaLabs’ portable probe measures soil nutrients and health in real time, delivering results to producers and agronomists in seconds — just like a laboratory, but faster. The company believes there should be no compromise between the time spent on soil analysis and the efficiency of actions taken. 

 

Eocycle develops, manufactures and commercializes low-cost wind turbines to provide sustainable electricity for a range of users, including farmers, schools and businesses. According to an April 2024 press release, the company secured $25 million in financing to expand its technology to rural America and Europe.
